Our Loch Lomond self catering holiday accommodation - terms and conditions of booking

Contract
When you submit a booking via our online reservation system you will receive an automatically generated booking summary by email to the email address you provide in the booking form. This does not form a contract between us. A contract shall only arise when your booking is subsequently confirmed in writing via a letter of confirmation sent to you by post or email.

Reservations
The reservation is only confirmed when the booking fee has been received. The booking contract is between the client/hirer and Lomond Castle Self Catering. The booking fee (deposit) of £150.00 (Non refundable) is taken at time of booking, if booked over 6 weeks in advance, the balance being payable by 6 weeks prior to arrival date. If the balance of any rental not paid by the due date, the booking will be treated as cancelled. Any bookings within 6 weeks of arrival must be paid in full on booking. Short Breaks and special offers must be paid in full at the time of booking. Christmas and New Year bookings must be paid in full 8 weeks before arrival.

Cancellations
Any Cancellation made by the client/hirer for any reason must be made in writing by letter or email directly to Lomond Castle Self Catering. Whilst every effort will be made to re-let your property, if this fails you the client/hirer will be liable for the full rental fee for period agreed on booking. It is strongly advised that you purchase the appropriate travel insurance to cover all eventualities. Lomond Castle Self Catering does not accept liability for any occurrences out with our control.

Arrivals

Your property will be available on the arrival date from 3.00 pm (unless by prior arrangement) until 10.00am on the day of departure. Lomond Castle Self Catering reserves the right to charge for late departures. This will be charged as one additional day’s rental.

Occupancy
The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum number stated on the booking, any additional guests will be charged at the full daily rate.

Care of property
Guests are asked to leave the property clean and tidy. Any breakages or damage accidental or otherwise should be reported immediately to Loch Lomond Self Catering. Failure to do this will result in you being charged for any breakages or damage. Any missing inventory from the property on your departure will also be charged for.

Pets
No pets are allowed in our properties at Lomond Castle.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in any of our properties.

Liability
Lomond Castle Self Catering will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to guest’s personal property vehicles etc. whilst visiting Lomond Castle Self Catering.

Noise

Lomond Castle is a mixture of Private Homes and Holiday Homes. Excessive noise or partying will not be tolerated and will result in ejection from the property. 
Home entertainment equipment, musical instruments and similar equipment must be used in away not to cause annoyance to other guests in adjoining properties.

Children
Guests must accept responsibility for the safety of their children at all times whilst visiting Lomond Castle Self Catering and its grounds.

Parking
Car parking spaces and visitor’s parking spaces within Lomond Castle Grounds may be used only for the parking of private cars or motor cycles and for no other vehicles, trailers, caravans or motor homes.
